#1 Only Kind Words and Actions
| All people in our classroom deserve respect and should feel accepted and safe in our classroom community.
| Tell someone please and thank you or provide positive encouragement during a game.
| Booing or saying negative words of any kind to any person during a game.
|
#2 Follow Directions the First Time
| Waiting for others to follow directions is a needless waste of time and interferes with the teacher's right to teach and the students' right to learn.
| As soon as Mr. Denison provides directions, you do what is asked quickly and quietly as instructed.
| After Mr. Denison provides directions you have to ask again what those instructions were or you are taking to long completing the directions.
|
#3 Keep Hands, Feet, and All Objects to Yourself
| All students must feel safe in the classroom, and no person should violate any other person's personal space on purpose or through negligence (negligence means that even though it was an "accident" you were doing something that was reckless and unnecessary)
| You stand in line with enough room not to touch the person next to you, and you keep hands and other objects still and securely held.
| You are in line and you throw against the wall and it "accidentally" hits someone, you play a "game" that requires physical contact such as punching, etc.
